Our Vision:
"Exalting Christ by building up, praying hard,
reaching out, meeting needs....together."

CELEBRATION:  The Journey - Wednesdays 7-8:30 pm
For all students in grades 7-12, The Journey is a time for students and leaders to step away from the busyness of their own worlds of school, work, and sports to journey together in pursuit of Christ. Through singing, testimonies, prayer, the Word, and small groups, students are engaged in relationships with their Heavenly Father, other students, and adult leaders to stretch their faith and deepen their walk with Christ.

BIBLICAL EDUCATION
- Sundays, 9:00 - 10:00 am
During the Sunday Biblical Education hour students in Grades 7-10 take part in tracks specifically designed for their developmental needs. This includes a 10th grade "Cornerstone" program and discussion-based learning classes for older students. The Word of God is the standard for all curriculum. 11th and 12th grade students are encouraged to attend adult Biblical Education classes.

LIFE GROUPS
- meeting times vary through the week in homes
LIFE Groups (cell groups) at York Alliance Church are intergenerational; with many groups already having a growing number of students active in them, both attending with their families and as individuals. These groups provide the environment that is not focused on any individual age group, but on Jesus alone. They provide an opportunity for students to be ministered to, and to use and develop their gifts to minister to others, keeping them connected to the community of faith.

STUDENT LEADERSHIP
One of the key elements to this ministry is our commitment to students leading students. Teams of students and leaders work together and plan outreach events, retreats and other "fun" activities. Wednesday night worship is led by students most of the time. There is also an internship program in which students can be exposed to the fun and challenges of full-time ministry.

OUTREACH
Our students are provided several ways to serve Jesus by serving each other, our community, and the world. Outreach events are planned periodically in order to expose the friends of our students to the love of God through His people. Mission trips are scheduled annually to allow students to serve for an extended period of time. Trips are offered domestically as well as internationally. For the summer of 2010, trips will be held to our very own City of York and to San Salvador, El Salvador, continuing our partnership with the Church of Faith and Worship.
