Pastoral Staff
Brian grew up in Massillon, Ohio. He has a Bachelor's in Marketing from Grove City College and has also been ordained with the C&MA. Brian and his wife, Amanda, have four children: Kristia, Ethan, Josiah, and Micah. He has served YAC in various pastoral roles since 2002, and has been serving as the Lead Pastor since 2010. His primary responsibilities include preaching and teaching, vision and direction, and leadership development. During any spare time, Brian loves to read, ride his bicycle, and grill great food.

Nate grew up in Lewisburg, PA and currently resides in Spring Grove. He graduated with a BS in accounting from Messiah University and a Master’s in Bible from Lancaster Bible College. He was ordained by the C&MA and completed the Ministerial Study Program. Nate and his wife, Glenda, have 3 children: Nathan, Linnea, and Rachel. He serves in the administrative aspects of York Alliance. In his spare time, he enjoys time on a golf course with friends.

Asa grew up near Niagara Falls, NY and met his wife Rachel in college at Philadelphia Biblical University. They moved out to Chicago where Asa finished his degree in Education at Moody Bible Institute. They moved to Southern New Jersey where he worked bivocationally as a Pastor and in Operations Management for thirteen years as they raised their four children. His focus at York Alliance is fostering alignment between the vision of the church and the discipleship practices of the ministry leaders. He also works with the Community Group leaders to equip them in their discipleship efforts. Asa enjoys roasting/brewing/drinking coffee, anything related to his Scottish heritage and experiencing God's creative grace through nature.

Michael grew up in Massachusetts before attending the University of New Hampshire. He spent four years in the Air Force before attending the University of Illinois for his master's degree. He is married to Sarah and they have a daughter Lauren. Michael oversees the missions and mobilization efforts of York Alliance and co-pastors Mosaic City Church in the city of York. In his spare time, he enjoys kayaking, reading and sports.

Jeff grew up in Gilbertsville, PA. He has a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix and was ordained in the C&MA in 2019. Jeff and his wife, Caroline have three boys: Aaron, Joshua, and Daniel. He has served in the C&MA since 2016 and is currently a church planting resident. During his spare time, Jeff enjoys collecting sports memorabilia, spending time with his family, and going to the beach.

Tim grew up in rural northern PA and is the youngest of 6 children, who all helped on their family-operated poultry farm. He has a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from Houghton College and Masters degree in Piano Performance from Penn State University. Married to Margaret for over 40 years, they have 4 awesome sons, 3 amazing daughters-in-law, and 10 precious grandchildren. For 25 years, his Associate Pastor role was overseeing Worship Arts and Pastoral Care. He recently transitioned to solely focusing on Pastoral Care. Tim enjoys lap swimming 3 days/week, practicing classical piano, and spending time with their grandkids.

Taylor is a native of York. She has an Associate's in Biblical Studies from LBC & Bachelor's in Psychology & Christian Counseling from Liberty University. Taylor is close with her parents, Mike & Andrea, and she has a younger sister, Hailey, who is her best friend! She helps to facilitate the student ministry & loves mentoring students. Taylor loves to read, play sports, be outside, drink coffee, and hang out with friends and family.

Born and raised in Oklahoma, Jonas has a B.S. in Christian Education: Youth Ministry and M.A. in Transformational Leadership: Spiritual Formation. He is married to Beth and they have two daughters who live with their families in Colorado, where Jonas ministered for 18 years. His role as Associate Pastor at YAC includes overseeing College/Young Adults, Facility Management and Host, Alpha Ministry, Redemption Group. Jonas loves to spend time hanging out with friends and family.

Lindsey is a York native and is married to Ryder. She attended a gap year program following graduation from York Suburban High School. As our Worship Arts Coordinator under Jacob’s leadership, she will be managing the day-to-day details of our Worship Arts Ministry and will serve as the immediate point of contact for scheduling and logistics of the worship leaders. Lindsey loves to hike, play music, and spend time in community.

Kristen was born and raised in Carlisle, PA. She has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Shippensburg University. Kristen and her husband, Rob, have 3 children: Evey, Ava and Robbie. She directs the activities of YAC children ages 0-11. She loves tacos, naps, dogs and hiking.

Jacob grew up in York and lives with his wife, Amanda, and his six children, Ezra, Eden, Miriam, Adalia, Abel, and Jude. He is an elementary teacher in a local school district, and attended York College obtaining a degree in Elementary and Special Education. Jacob’s primary role is to oversee the worship ministry at YAC by empowering worship leaders to leverage their talents to help others enter Jesus’ presence. A passion of Jacob’s is to facilitate the use of the arts as a means of expressing and experiencing God’s beauty. In a free moment, you may catch Jacob hanging with his family, out for a run or bike ride, or eating a burrito.

Belinda has lived in York all of her life, minus a few years while traveling on a sailboat. She received medical/admin degrees from Hagerstown Business College. Belinda and her husband, Todd, have two daughters, Sara and Carly. She is an admin support for all YAC ministries and a connection point for our church family. She feels called to be “behind the scenes” supporting the rest of our staff so they can use their giftings and she especially enjoys connecting visitors and new members to the YAC family. Belinda enjoys playing board games, spending time with friends and family and being in quiet outdoor places, especially near water.

Re was born a Philadelphia girl, moved when she was 10, and attended St Pius X High School in Pottstown, PA, graduating in 1979. After high school, she worked as a bank teller for a few years. In those years, she came to know Jesus and decided to attended a small Bible college in Arkansas. Jim Tuttle has been her guy for 35+ years, and they have 2 daughters, Alyssa and Allison and 2 great son-in-laws, Dan and Joe. As a receptionist at York Alliance, she loves welcoming those who God brings to our office throughout the week. It's easy for her to get lost in time with their grands, family, friends, flowers, or cooking.

Fred was born and raised in the city of Hong Kong, alongside his two brothers and parents who were C&MA missionaries. In 1987, he relocated to York, Pennsylvania.
While initially pursuing studies at Toccoa Falls College in Georgia, Fred's passion led him to a career focused primarily on audiovisual technologies. Over the years, he has actively contributed to the realms of live concert production, AV integration, and technology management. Fred will be overseeing all of the technological aspects of our ministry structure as well as developing systems that will allow YAC to more effectively multiply the tech processes at our church plants. Fred will also oversee technology at these future church plants.
Fred and his wife, Sharon, met in the YAC youth group. Their family includes four adult girls Esther, Hope, Brooke, and Sara (who died on August 8) as well as two boys at home, Richard and Nysir, and two grandchildren.
In his moments of leisure, Fred finds joy tending to a small menagerie of goats, chickens, and honey bees. He also finds solace in music, plays the sport of disc golf, passionately follows the Philadelphia Phillies but, above all, treasures the quality time he spends with his family.

Chuck is originally from New Jersey. After college, he worked in Houston, Texas, in the oil business as a geologist. There he met his wife, Nancy. They have 4 adult children and 2 grandchildren. A few years ago, Chuck was asked if he could help to coordinate volunteers who clean and maintain the church and that is his current role. In his spare time, Chuck likes to be outdoors with binoculars looking for wildlife, especially birds.
Chuck Berthoud - Facility Care Coordinator
Debbie grew up in Schuylkill County, PA. She is a Graduate of Grove City College in Music Education. She is married to Sam and their children are Elliot, Lucy, and Mary. Debbie has a passion for connecting and unifying intercessors, helping people discover how God is speaking to them during their prayer time, and finding new ways to engage prayer so that our eyes and ears never become dull to the voice of the Spirit. She supports our staff by developing resources and prayer teams, as well as opportunities to grow as people of prayer at YAC. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, hiking, catching up with friends over a hot drink, and listening to good music.
