SGCompanion Terms of Service

SGCompanion is an internal ministry technology integration operated by York Alliance Family of Churches for Spring Grove Alliance Church.
SGCompanion connects the church's Bitfocus Companion control system with an authorized YouTube account using Google's OAuth 2.0 system and the YouTube Data API.
Authorized use
SGCompanion is intended solely for authorized employees, volunteers, contractors, and ministry personnel acting on behalf of York Alliance Family of Churches or its affiliated campuses.
The application is not intended as a general-purpose public service.
Users may only connect Google or YouTube accounts and channels that they are authorized to access or manage.
Google and YouTube services
Use of SGCompanion may involve Google and YouTube services and is therefore also subject to applicable Google and YouTube terms, including the YouTube Terms of Service.
Users are responsible for complying with those terms when using SGCompanion.
Appropriate use
Users may not use SGCompanion to:
- Access a Google or YouTube account without authorization.
- Circumvent Google or YouTube security or access controls.
- Violate YouTube Community Guidelines or applicable Google or YouTube policies.
- Use YouTube API data for unauthorized commercial, advertising, surveillance, or data-harvesting purposes.
- Interfere with the security or operation of SGCompanion, Bitfocus Companion, Google, or YouTube.
Availability
SGCompanion depends on third-party services, including Google, YouTube, the YouTube API, and Bitfocus Companion.
York Alliance Family of Churches does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of those third-party services or of the SGCompanion integration.
Functionality may change as Google, YouTube, Bitfocus, or the church's technical systems change.
Access
York Alliance Family of Churches may restrict or terminate access to SGCompanion when access is no longer required, when a user's authorization changes, or when necessary to protect church systems or connected accounts.
Privacy
Use of Google and YouTube information through SGCompanion is described in the SGCompanion Privacy Policy.
