SGCompanion

SGCompanion is an internal ministry technology integration used by Spring Grove Alliance Church, part of the York Alliance Family of Churches, to connect Bitfocus Companion with the church’s authorized YouTube channel.

SGCompanion allows authorized church staff and volunteers to use the Bitfocus Companion control system to interact with YouTube Live during worship services and other ministry events.

The integration uses Google OAuth 2.0 and the YouTube Data API. Access is granted only after an authorized Google account approves the requested permissions.

SGCompanion may request permission to manage the authorized YouTube account so that Companion can perform functions related to YouTube Live broadcasts. The integration is not offered as a public service and is intended only for authorized church ministry operations.

SGCompanion does not request or store a user's Google password.

Use of SGCompanion is subject to Google's and YouTube's applicable terms and policies.
