The YAC vision statement concludes with the inclusive statement: “In all of this, prayer is the first work.” We truly believe that the most important work to which we are called as God’s people is prayer. Plan now to come to our corporate prayer gathering on Wednesday, July 26, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. The prayer focus will be on praying through and into denominational requests and challenges as presented by President John Stumbo at the General Council in June.
Join campers and their families in celebrating end-of-camp with a huge block party. As part of the celebration, kids will display their artwork and read poetry. Come and show your support for the 30 kids who completed six weeks of learning, playing and growing! Food, bounce houses, activities for kids! Come and help us bless the community!

Connect is a locally-based mission trip open to all students in 7th through 12th grade and is specifically designed to help introduce students to the various needs around York while partnering with the York Alliance Church body to grow relationships in the community.
We will be partnering with Lifehouse @ 810 to help launch the city parks program in Albemarle Park and hosting block parties all around York to help the York Alliance Church family connect with their friends and neighbors with the love of Christ.
This year’s Operation White Rose event will singly focus on blessing the community surrounding Albemarle Park through a church-wide hosting of a community yard sale and block party. In order to host such a large-scale event, many volunteers are needed and there are tasks for all ages!
If you attend York Alliance Church, you are invited to engage the value of Serving the Body by participating in Spring Work Day in and around our church campus. Everyone is invited, so mark your calendar and plan on spending the morning connecting with other workers and serving one another! Lunch will be provided.
Galatians 5:13: “Through love, serve one another.”
Many parents today are wondering "Do I have what it takes to be a good parent?" A lot of times parents need help, but nobody likes to ask for help. That's why we have decided to host a Parenting Conference using a new video-driven study called Parenting: The Early Years by Les & Leslie Parrott. Their teaching delves deeper than simply trying to get your kids to eat their broccoli and clean their room. It takes a Biblical perspective into the traits parents want their children to have and the traits parent want their children to see modeled in themselves.
The Conference will be held on Friday evening, March 10 from 7 to 9 pm and Saturday, March 11 from 8:30 am until 3 pm. Dessert and coffee will be served on Friday evening and a light breakfast and lunch will be served on Saturday. Childcare is available on a pre-registration basis.
This seminar is offered to anyone who wishes to attend, but is specifically geared to those who may be new to York Alliance Church. During this time you will learn more about the ministries and vision of York Alliance as well as the Christian & Missionary Alliance denomination at large. There will also be plenty of time to ask any questions you may have about our church, our denomination and our leadership and vision.
Welcome to York Alliance is being offered on Saturday, March 4 (8:30 am - Noon) OR Wednesdays (6:30 - 8 pm) on March 15, 22, 29, and April 5.
This week, January 8-15, marks our first Global Connection emphasis of the year, focusing on both local and global missions. Guest speakers include Chris Coakley, director of Grain of Hope, and Alan Rathbun, leader of Eastern PA District Church Planting.
During the week, everyone is encouraged to participate in the “Project Experience”. This guided walk-through experience will expose us to the reality of a broken world and will encourage us to engage it as Jesus-followers. Stop by the Information Center to pick up a flyer with further information, including specific times.
